Is there a way to turn off Word's belief that it knows better than I which white space I wish to select, to delete, etc.?
Also, is there a way to convince Word that a deleted footnote has really been deleted and that it can number the others without it?
Every time I open Word I am fascinated that no one has managed to produce something better, and that MS doesn't ever seem to fix bugs.
