I'm sorry but this is bad reporting. These platforms have tools to remove content at scale: it's what they do for copyright infringement. It doesn't matter if it's two uploads or millions, perceptual matching works just the same.

The bar is: did they act as fast as they would have for, say, the latest GoT episode leaking online. If yes, fine, if not...
