Yes, I've long suspected that the reason we know so much about Facebook misdeeds and not those of Google or Apple is employee satisfaction and internal politics, nothing else. FB stories often feature "as confirmed by 287 employees familiar with the project."

You don't get that in a happy and cohesive company.
