Apple and Google have been avidly misusing people's data, and enabling the misuse of data on unprecedented scale, for a long time. And now that data might come in useful, people don't trust them. *shock*

If there's one number to take away from that article, it's that people trust Apple/Google less than they trust American health insurance companies.
