If by ill intentions you mean that publishers are forced into it, that's just a fact. I don't know what the intentions were. Have you looked at the license you impose for it? Is that necessary to ward off those threats?

Again, privatise the web is a fact, and it's an effect. I don't say that it's an intent. You're making the web run on Google instead of independently, and we have no say in the matter.
