No, I think it's an older spelling of Scylla en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scylla

Or it might be a typo. I believe he was on a boat when he wrote this, so it works even better. On the Internet I see both spellings in the poem, but I can't get to my paper copy, it's in a box somewhere.
