So basically you want to have the refs at the end but none of all that unsightly [ALL-CAPS-CRAP]? Perhaps the simplest option is to write this as if it were meant to be daunting, with the refs where you’d include them, but then add `.bibref { display: none; }` to your style?

Crap, actually that won’t work, it doesn’t catch the []. I guess something similar to what you did might be the simplest: <p style=“display:none”>[[CRAM]], [[IT]],[[ALL]],[[HERE]]</p>.
