From what I've seen, most software folks work implementing unethical business models which they justify finding cool because you can scale obscure jargon? Seriously, though: the reason I stepped away from software for a spell is because no one there knows how to solve this shit.

In "humanities" like things, people might not know how to implement, but they have some thoughts on how to fix. The problems are harder, too.
