It's a decent way to write some docs, it's a pretty terrible format to process, though. This means that a lot of useful information is lost, because it's encoded in LaTeX. It also compiles to formats with bad accessibility.

All of this is fixable, I think that there could be an evolution of LaTeX that would feel like writing LaTeX to LaTeX lovers, but would have a better architecture.
