I hear you, but I don't think it's true. We don't have a word for "society excluding Philip Morris and Dupont." These companies that appropriating something that's ours and then misusing it, and that's the whole of the Web — our Web.

Calling the part they haven't enclosed yet by a different name concedes what they've already taken. I don't think either of us wants that :)
