Four years into the GDPR you would think that EU legislators would have a more enforceable understanding of how consent creates loopholes that benefit gatekeepers. Whether @Andreas_Schwab fixes this issue will tell us if Europe means business or if the #DMA is just for show.

Using consent for complex data processing impacting oneself is already an issue. Using consent - a fundamentally individualistic mechanism - to solve collective problems like competition and the impact of excessive data concentration on democracy is very problematic.
