That's fair. My (very compatible) rant is that we need privacy laws to think more adversarially about bad actors. I recently heard someone claim that the ATT prompt is a dark pattern because it makes tracking look bad and defaults to safety.

People like that exist in the same intellectual universe as Brexit. Reality doesn't matter, people don't matter, only pushing their views matters. They don't care that they're building a world of monopolies and toxic data leaks. We need enforcement leverage.
