I agree, that's my assumption for most niche pubs. But I'm thinking of niche services like something that gives you meeting times in various TZs. They might have high retention but zero context (you can't just sell people calendars). Harder to SDA.

Also note I said *if* that revenue transfer is worth doing. That's hard to answer in the abstract. The assumption that advertising must be the answer to everything is just that, an assumption. This could be WebMon territory.
