Thanks! I think domestication can bring together notions of nudging, deskilling, and convenience on one side, and the issues from the loss of robustness and diversity in engineered ecosystems on the other. I need more work on this to make it crisp.

Slightly further afield, domestication also comes with a host of ills and illnesses for humans, animals, and plants — I wonder if the digital equivalent has comparable mechanisms.
