I asked Dan because he is the Guardian of Web History, and because he's both a good friend and a curious historian, he went to ask you :) I didn't know you'd worked there. I'm thinking about what browsers could/should be if we want the Web to succeed.

One thing that I believe they need to do is to commoditise search and social — or be commoditised by them, which is what's been happening and isn't a promising direction. Flock is one obvious place to look for prior thinking :) Thanks a lot for the shot, exactly what I needed.
