Hey, I know a lot of you tried Mastodon with the early fits of the petulant moron and were put off by that experience. But as this site keeps getting worse and more dead (it's like they hired the engagement people from Meta), I'd like to encourage you to try again.

I'm not going to claim that it's perfect over there, but I can share my experience. First, picking a good client makes a world of difference, and there are now some really good ones. Second, my timeline is now waaaaaay better over there, none of that "For You" crap.

I'm also seeing way more discussions and more engagement with eg. my blog over there, and this on a quarter of my followers. I'm just missing some of you folks over there. So come join the party!
