There isn't a "best" browser for everyone, pick one that matches what you want. I use Firefox, but there's also DuckDuckGo, Brave, Arc... Plenty of options.

I'd add that the duty of care is fundamental but care is skilful and easy to get wrong. Many of the people harming the internet *do* care — but in harmful ways. IMHO understanding the "pathology of command & control" is key to getting care right.
