Important: if you get a new Touch Bar MBP, do NOT restore from Time Machine. You are likely to semi-brick it, as I just did.

Instead, go through install and all updates, then run migration assistant. Third time through this in a row...
Reason is apparently Touch Bar has its own OS (don't ask) and initial restore from backup can wipe rights to the mandatory EFI upgrade. Fun!
