And I'm not surprised they published it, it's a good and well-balanced piece, and when they say they're independent they really mean it!

It's why this matters: "the old model of a independently managed and free press is being replaced by one where giant technology companies control user data and the purse strings." Some people don't include this in their privacy threat model. That's a problem.
