I would like to personally extend my warmest thanks to the office of @XavierBecerra for making sure us privacy nerds remain busy under pandemic conditions by dropping a second set of edits to the CCPA regs. 🤓🤗 oag.ca.gov/privacy/ccpa

It looks like the updates are mostly that we’re losing that “IP address” clarification on personal data as well as the opt out logo. Damn. I actually made the opt-out state of that logo in hope of making it better UX! A thing of beauty now lost forever:
