What is being proposed here is that dark pattern consent obtained by the site would prevail over the browser's blocking, withdrawal of consent, or objection to processing. It's removing a tool that works in the user's defence.

Now, if you're concerned about systems that make decisions instead of the user, then we agree: those need to be burned with radioactive fire and buried in a toxic waste dump, then forgotten about.

But when confronted with automated systems, the user is at a disadvantage. The idea is that the browser — the user's agent — can level that playing field somewhat. That should not be prevented under any circumstances.
