Neither of you asked me, but hey it's Friday night! It would be good to find a shared best practice here, but so far the alternatives I've looked aren't great. Embedding has archival issues (Twitter could die, tweet could suffer takedown). It's also not great for privacy.

Copying can be tricky too, though. It may violate ToS. It could itself be subject to takedown. Screenshots are terrible for accessibility (and responsive design), and lack the interactive bits that may be useful.

I *think* that a process that would repeat the tweet as if it were a quote made in public, reproducing some of the Twitter experience but being clear that it's effectively quoting a statement, might be the best option. But it'd have to be okayed by a lawyer I would think.
