This has just started (Zoom details in thread), with @C4COMPUTATION kicking off into a description of the goals of @Collective_CI.

Really enjoying David Krakauer's critique of "Noise" by Kahneman, Sibony, & Sunstein. He notably points out that the book's argument assumes optimisation to a single optimum.

There is interesting convergence between an ontology in which noise is a problem and political belief in legibility, optimisation, and nudging.
