I'm here to look for common ground too and I don't believe that that requires "aligning on strategy" (ew) but that's hard to do when we can't discuss solving the Web's major problems because your employer might be help liable for having caused them in the first place.

Not blaming you for that *at all* to be clear, just pointing out that it makes for a bit of an impasse.

Getting some bit of RSS right would be neat, but it won't make a dent in the issues I see. Happy to provide some feedback because the deck chairs should be arranged neatly, but incremental times scale doesn't mean impact.
