Most of the issues listed by @Chronotope aren't technical, and many are specifically about the business model of journalism. Post seems intent on intermediating media, which we've seen over and over. If my livelihood depended on a sustainable press, I wouldn't play along.

Or, you know, if I thought that independence of the press matters. It's understandable that media companies and journalists made mistakes when this was all new. It's distressing to see people just walk into the same trap as if nothing had happened.
