Mozilla is laying off 250 people and is basically on life support. Their primary competitors: * Bundle their browser in a leading operating system. * Forbid alternative browser engines on their platform. * Use their massive Web properties to drive downloads of their own browser.

I mean, yes, we’re all in awe of how Facebook and Google colluded through a direct agreement to own advertising together on top of their respective anticompetitive practices. But what I really want to find out is: which Star Wars character did they name that deal after?

Are there any regulators who aren't asleep at the wheel right now? Do you need some help identifying consumer harm here?

The Web has become dominated by proprietary aggregation technologies: AMP, Apple News Format, Facebook Instant Articles, MIP, and now Web Bundles. These formats cater to the needs of large platforms; not users, not publishers. It’s unsustainable. We need to change this.
