It's definitely been an insular org and has developed a strong groupthink in which people say "anonymous identifier without noticing the oxymoron or claim those identifiers are safe just as they're being used to put kids in cages.

And everyone outside that bubble who so much as cocks their head at such weird views is a "privacy advocate" (whatever that means). This short-sightedness has caused a lot of damage to brands through fraud and unsafe contexts...
...and to publishers through stolen audiences, bad ads, and getting mired in an unsustainable business model.
Orgs are hard to change, it might be better to put this one out to pasture. But I'm hopeful that there's a genuine awakening in the adtech community.
I mean, if nothing else this is a fucking awesome moment to invent one of the next models and make fuckloads of money!
